Top Countries with the Best Escape Rooms - August 2019

For July we posted the Top 25 Countries with the Best Escape Rooms where the UK moved up to #3 and the US moved up to #8.  We were curious whether the recent movement in the August Top 100 lists, in particular the new US entrants, would have an impact to this list. 

In the Top 100 World we saw several new entrants including  Strange Bird Immersive (Houston) ,  Maze of Tales (Beirut), Other World Escapes (Portsmouth), Mystic Escape Room (Littleton), Miss Terry Escape Rooms (Hanoi), and Elude Escape Rooms (Galston).  We also saw some significant movement from  The Escape Game (Cincinnati),  Seoul Escape Room, The Clockwork Key Escape Room (Dublin), Escape Reality (Delhi), and Room Rush (Paris).

Regardless of theses individual moves, there was little movement this month at the national level. France made the largest upward movement, up two spots to #12. The UK and US remain in the #3 and #8 positions. A few countries swapped positions (e.g., Portugal and Romania).

Same as last month, little more than 1/2 of the countries in this list were above the overall average rating of 4.70. This month’s average did not change from last month (at least to two significant digits).  For the largest economy nations, the UK continues to have a comfortable lead over the US. Italy, Germany, and Canada had no change from last month.
