LAGE VUURSCHE – Since 1807, Drakensteyn (built in the 14th century) is owned by the mayor of Utrecht. The mayor has since this time built a valuable wine cellar, which he had guarded by the son of his faithful butler, Gregory vd H. to Beichlingen. On 7 December 1916 the son was last seen at the entrance of the wine cellar. His body was never found by the police.
