Escape rooms are interactive games where a group of players are put into a room that is built to resemble a fictional place such as a laboratory, a diamond store, a Hacker’s Lair, etc… And tasked with a job similar to Sherlock Holmes or a C.S.I team in order to beat the game. So instead of just watching a movie or playing a video game, players actually experience the movie/game in real life, sometimes complete with special effects. Once in the game players must then work together to solve puzzles built into the room in order to escape before the game’s time runs out.
